Gel plate prints

Gel plate printing is a printmaking technique whereby acrylic paint is rolled onto a gelatinous plate. Paper is then pressed onto the plate to transfer a one-of-a-kind image. The process involves layers of paint, using stencils, string, found objects, or leaves and pressing paper onto the plate to capture the image.
